Gran Turismo 5 to Support Both 3D and Move

Gran Turismo 5 has been in development for over 5 years. This wait has caused many fans to become frustrated especially as Polyphony Digital has not stated why the game has been delayed.

Today we now know why, at least partially why. According to “source close to Sony” news site MCV is claiming to have received word that Sony's blockbuster racing game will indeed support both 3D technology and the Playstation Move.

It has been known for sometime now that GT5 will have 3D support as Sony have demonstrated this feature on multiple occasions. However the closes thing to confirmation on PS Move support was this quote in gaming magazine PSM3: “We’re always attuned to new technologies. If there are display devices or peripherals that seem interesting, I’m sure we’ll work to support them.”

So what will the Playstation Move offer Gran Turismo 5? Will it offer accelerometer type control for steering? Total hand control- even for changing gear (similar to Microsoft's Project Natal driving demo representation)? At present no one is sure. I guess we will have to wait for E3 where a big showing of GT5 is planned by Sony.
